Well My S15 just turned 10 years old and most of my customers cars are 20 years old so I began to think what platforms will be available for drifting in the future?
I think the 350Z is next in line but this Genesis may be a strong bang for the buck contender as well.
My personal experiene with this KDM car is that overall the car is great, I am really happy with the looks, the power, the features, and the price.
We have been working on the coilover testing and thinking about other parts for the New Genesis Coupe to insure we have the bases covered on the future drift machines.
Bone stock:

Testing parts arrived:

Front Multilink

Stock vs. max prototype

Whats with the water pipes going over the headers on both sides?

Rear multilink

Front coilover fitted

Rear coil and damper test

Coil over damper test

We made it clear!

After coilovers were installed and aligned

also remember if the rear spring is coil over shock, it'll need a different spring rate than if its seperate like oem setup because the leverage point is moved outwards.

Its funny when you see them together, they have the similar character lines down the side
I think if the genesis had nissan on the grill and silvia on the trunk, noone would question the lineage.

lol dane

I switched to 6KG in the rear today, 8/6 is the perfect balance between front and back for sports and daily driving depending on the damper setting. There is something about this stiff chassis & geometry that makes the extra weight disappear from handling and suspension feel.

having 8 in the back around crazy roads in town was like having no suspension at all back there (even with a softer damping setting), 6 is quite a bit less harsh. 6KG Reintroduces some roll at softer damper settings but that can be quickly adjusted out with the twist of the damper knob.

Remember this is in regards to coil over damper only and would not apply to an OEM positioned spring
