"Broken aero sucks, send it back to its place, don't think too much about it , put it together fast" Nakamura from Burst teachs us the "Burst way" of fixing aero kits.
When you think of Nakamura's drifting and his friends, you think aero kits to them is like paper towels, you use it once and throw it a way. But when you talk to them and ask them about aero kits, they all say the opposite, they fix them, sometimes fiber-glass them to achieve the longest life of the aero.
Burst way (Nakamura/Master aero repairer) -Fix it quick(1 minute is your goal) -use the trashed aero wisely.(especially the bottom lip, cause there is a lot of flat surface) cut piece of it it and use it as the back support between broken pieces. You wanna use fiber glass piece instead of sheet metal because its softer for cutting and drilling holes, hence easier repair. -use electric drill and self tapping screw. (nakamura uses self tapping screws to hold the aero to the car, this way is way stronger than zip ties, plus if the aero hits the ground only some portion would brake off not the whole thing) -use 5 yen as a washer. it gives a good surface area for the screw to stay on. Its probably good luck too. -fiberglass them from the back when you have nothing to do that weekend(no drift events what so ever), don't paint it. If its together its good to go.
