I talked to Eisuke San and he says everyone is ok.
Everyone in martins family is ok too.
We were going there in a few days but Eisuke San advised against it because there is fear that an aftershock may put us in danger while visiting shizuoka.

I'm glad everyone is ok; at least to my immediate connection. I hope things can return to somewhat normal, although I'm pretty sure that's easier said than done. I read that there are mass evacuations due to more problems with the reactors. It's just so shitty. My world basically revolves around japan lol, I like to read shonen jump and I'm sure their priorities are different now. I just hope the rising sun will rise again and not be the next atlantis

Dan, I sent you a PM regarding the situation here. Last night at about 1030 PM there was a 6.0 which epicenter was in Shizuoka.
There has been over 300 aftershocks since the first quake that causes the Tsunami up north.
Most of the trains are down and they have rolling blackouts to conserve power throught the day.
The nuclear reactors are all messed up and they have reports all over the news of radiation bieng released from the explosion in reactor 2 and fire in reactor 4.
U.S. naval base Yokosuka and Atsugi have both detected radiation in the area as well.
I'll keep you posted.

Couple small ones today and bad weather pushing its way in to add to the fun!
looks like they will be getting some snow and rain up north. I hope by now everyone has shelter, food and water and some clothes to get them through this.
The NAVY has been sending alot of food and water donations up there and search and rescue teams are active on location, but finding few survivors in the wreckage.
I havent heard any reports of deaths or damage from the shizouka quake last night.
