I just recently purchased a set of Powered by Max coilovers for my S13 coupe. The issue I am having is when I loosen the locking collar to adjust the ride height I am unable to twist the coilover assembly left or right. Am I attempting to adjust the coilover the wrong way? I set the preload (to what I believe is zero) by loosening the upper and lower perches and tightening the upper perch until the spring was sitting snug with no wiggle room and then locking the upper perch with the lower perch. Also, wondering when I go for alignment what settings would be good for a daily + occasional canyon run(s)/drifting?

The spherical bearing that allows the assembly to rotate in the lower mount for ride height adjustment is pretty tight when its new, so you can unbolt the lower mount and rotate that to adjust the height.
