If you ever have a chance, drive down to shizuoka city and visit Max and say hi to Eisuke san. he is really cool and would like to check out your ride. I like your S14, I like upgrage as well.

oh wow no shit he is right down the tomei (maybe 2 hours).
if you can get me good directions in english, i'll stop by for sure. i would love to see how often they have events at fuji also. not knowing the language puts a serious dent in my abillity to attend events.
thanks!

Welcome to our humble forum. If you go from Hachiroku to silvia, more power to ya! It would be great to have such a highly tuned machine here in the states (its certainly not a POS) Get in all the drifting you can while you are in Japan. Eisuke at MAX in shizuoka has been known to throw a couple of events, and he posts upcoming opportunities to drift right here on the Japan event forum. And then you can drift with us when you come to the USA. We participate in tons of events.
RIP M-Sports, love that ish.
Dont the XD9's come in a maximum size and offset 18x10j+18? You have any problem running 18's up front at your ride height?

hey dan thanks for the welcome! as for the guy who posted above you, i have NO IDEA what he said. nihongo? wakarimasen. gomenasai.
yeah i think you are right, +18 is the maximum. i was thinkging what im going to run that as with a 3mm spacer haha or maybe a 5mm. not sure yet.
as for the 18x9 up front, i do have some clearance problems, but i usually take off the 25mm spacers up front so i get a little more scrub radius clearance. other than that, i can run them all day.
oh and i still have the Msports bumper haha gonna use that one until it disintegrates. keeping the d-pad for daily.
i used to drift all the time back in cali at club4ag drift days. then i move to japan and you had drift circuit 6 minutes from my old house. dammit! hahaha ohwell. gonna be awesome when i move back.
again, thanks for the welcome. cozy place you got here. maybe i'll stay a while?

yeah 6 grand. a friend of mine here was helping me look for a car when i first got to japan. "i know you are looking for a 180sx, but i know somebody selling an S14, interested? he wants 8."
i got his number, offered him 6 (he was leaving in less than 2 weeks and had no offers from other broke-ass sailors). he took the 6k and threw in an extra set of wheels! haha
good shit.
yeah i am in the navy. been here for 2 years, 1 to go. i like japan okay, but i really miss san diego. right when i left, shit blew up! i mean, some of my friends are practically pro now!
(colin frost, lance kirianoff, etc.)
its just crazy.
i cant wait to get back and slide around in socal again.
