s chasis = cheaper parts for setting up the car to drift. longer wheelbase so easier to maintain a slide.but you look like everyone else miata=cost out the ass to set it up for drifting. have fun learning to react fast as the miata needs you to to maintain the slide.your sliding something kinda different.

however as easy as the s chassis is to fix up tires are not getting any cheaper so if you can spend less fixing it up you may have more fun if there is more money for event entry fees etc.
miatas cool but just like a corolla its hard to initiate early/get sick with it in that car. only person ive seen in person do that with a miata is jeff and that guy rob from chicago. to initiate early and shit you usually kinda need a 240 or fc or something like that with a few exceptions of course but still
