Just fyi I had a custom adapter made up so I could run the standard filter type. Just a piece of pipe that an engineering shop I know threaded for me. It replaced the one supplied as its easier to get other types of filter here in the UK.

wow that sure is a UK thing to do, ha ha. I imagine anywhere in the world there is so many filters with common threads & diameter in the auto parts store. You may have the ones I have suggested in the product description however it seems that after opening 4-5 boxes of random filters in the store you will have found a compatible filter that would save you from making a custom part?

haha I guess but I had already bought a filter and it didn't cost me anything to get the adapter made so was easy. So no money was wasted buying another filter. Said money went on beer! haha

So I just took my engine out to rebuild it and I've been stupid and not paid attention when disconnecting the oil lines to my remote filter. Can someone kindly enlighten me as to which fittings connect to each other. I have attached two examples. Thanks in advance guys.
