Would mini-tubbing the front fender wells get rid of the fitment problems? I can't quite recall what the issue was aside from removing the front strut bar, but I want to go back to metal fenders instead of running wider fenders with a spacer.

you need to have the wheels out as far as possible so they dont hacksaw the lower control arm too bad. When you put positive offset you reduce your max angle, and style. dont do it.

dane get shine non vented fenders. they are awsome i had them on my vert. i got them for like 220 picked up from shine. they are in rancho cucamunga. they look reall really clean. almost exactly like stock fenders just 30mm wider. they are kinda a pain in the ass to put on though cos you have to drill out all the holes for mounting.

oh and if you really want to fun metal fenders you can hammer and roll the front lip down and flat and then flare it. its not the prettiest but if you where gonna get ur car painted a little bondo or whatever to smooth it out
