Decent welds, what happened you ran out of U bends to make the hot pipe and welded the legs together? I have a bunch of T-bolt clamps. Grind off all that heavy bondo. Are you going to weld the quarter back together? If I had a fiberglass bumper it would defenately be Msport, its my fave.
The reds you like are candys = expensive. Dude, go flakes - just go balls out like the skyline, you could do any color, red flakes would rock.
ya im thinking black base with very very heavy large red flake ran out of bends so i made that thing lol, itll do for now. ya i think these other ones i like you put gold underneath, then red on top? i know next to nothing about pait. like this: http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/8194/img1656ui6.jpg http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/4818/010ql5.jpg im gonna weld them back together but not grind down the bondo. i think im gonna put 15mm spacers underneath my vsxx. i love low wide cars, incase you cant tell lol. got any like 2.75-3inch t clamps? ill buy em off you or bring you food for 2 of em if so, or trade for smaller ones or blowies from nate whatever lol
Well the problem with doing different color base and flake is that it looks like it has sprinkles all over, but if you do the same color base and flake, it looks smooth and uniform, and if you use 100x more flake than people usually do it starts to look more chrome than sparkle. Yours would be red chrome (badazz) There is one size flake bigger than mine and it is way way bigger. I was hesitant to step out on a limb and flake out the skyline but I am glad I did it's the shit.
Ya thats red candy over silver or gold. I have a variety of clamps but I'm straight on the blowies you can have nate to yourself.
I'm impressed with what Matt can do in his S14. Trust me, I saw the whole thing at willow springs race track. To Matt, Keep working on your ride and someday you will have a S14 that looks as good as this red one,,,, maybe better.
so i found this paint, what do you guys think, dan martin? metalic candy red http://www.paintforcars.com/kits_candyredmetallic.html then it says for best results do a metalic silver/white under it http://www.paintforcars.com/kits_silvermetallic.html then hit it with some of their clear coat, done. maybe even, but probably not, add some flake. i think this would make it look like those cars on the last page, the super metalic ones. but im not sure. represent!
