Hey everyone; I should be doing an SR20 swap around Christmas time. And, I want to run the PBM cobra flex to Buddy Club Spec II. I went to the check-out list and there are different options to choose from for the cobra-flex, which is awesome. But, I didn't know which was the best for me and if you can customize it any other ways. I'm going to be running an almost stock setup. I'd just like to get some opinions on what the best setup would be for the exhaust.
Thanks,
Jonathan

3 inch turbo back is perfect .no bigger no smaller. Buddy club is only cat-back. Does the cobra delete the cat or would this guy need a test pipe as well?

i'm running a pbm cobra, test pipe, apexi ecv, and buddy club spec II. great setup, loud as hell wot. my cobra is from the first production batch and is perfect. my whole exhaust system tucks high against the floor. i had to shave one of my driver seat bolts, banged the tranny tunnel, cut tow hook and shave a piece of my diff cause the exhaust system tucks so high.

as low as i am, the frame gets punished and not the exhaust... cherray.

I thought the cobra flex took the place of a test pipe. I thought you bolt a cat-back straight up to the cobra flex. Do you not?

the cobra is a downpipe replacement only and does not have the cat section

Yes, I know that. But, what I'm asking, is that does it replace the place of a catalytic converter/test pipe? Am I able to run the cobra flex to cat back exhaust?

So, I'm basically paying $400 for a down-pipe?

well it's a divided elbow+flex+downpipe all in one. With one of the best ground clearance's you can get. well worth it.

So, knowing this, I know I want to run the BuddyClubSpecII, so, what is the best test pipe to get? I guess I thought this took the place of the cat/test pipe because the straight pipe looked longer than usual I guess.
Thanks
